Position: Junior Project Manager/Scrum Master

Location: Englewood, CO 80112

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day remote, 4 days onsite), 1-2 overnight shifts/year

Contract: 6-12 month contract or contract to hire

Pay: $30/hr

Job Description:

We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our XRM team as a Junior Project Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of XRM Usage Management projects, with a focus on Voice, HSD, Wifi, XM, and Video projects. You'll collaborate closely with the team, adhering to an agile/scrum model.

Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements, business value, and deliverables for XRM Usage Management projects.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and schedule updates internally and externally.
• Maintain Rally, our project management tool, with accurate information.
• Configure Rally for accurate reporting, including hours spent, defects per month, and team velocity.
• Schedule and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Drive continuous improvement within scrum teams, identifying and implementing best practices.
• Manage two scrum teams, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Prepare and present monthly metrics reports, highlighting performance and areas for improvement.
• Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders, summarizing progress, risks, and upcoming activities.
• Support budget conversations and contribute to budgeting exercises for XRM Usage Management projects.
• Contribute to road mapping activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define priorities and timelines.
• Assist in quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning, aligning project objectives with organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile/scrum project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, particularly Rally or similar platforms.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Previous experience in reporting and data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with XRM systems and the telecommunications industry is a plus.
