Accumet Engineering Inc is Hiring a Full-Time Human Resources Coordinator Near Devens, MA
Job Summary
Reporting to the Owner, this role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including but not limited to new employee onboarding, I-9 forms, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, recruiting support, benefits management. Payroll processing.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding of new hires including preparation of files and training
- Complete, verify and maintain Forms I-9 and relevant documentation; oversee E-Verify
- Oversee administration of HR records, paper and electronic
- Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations
- Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions; reconcile benefits statements
- Deploy and analyze training evaluations and other company surveys
- Aid with annual open enrollment, performance management and other people operations initiatives
- Assists with recruitment and interview scheduling process
- Attend job fairs virtually and in-person, several times/year
- Perform clerical functions: print, scan and email documents; and performs other clerical functions; file documents into appropriate employee files; assist or prepare correspondence as requested
- Assists with document preparation for terminations
- Conduct company trainings on HR initiatives; attend meetings to share people operations messaging
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Collaborates with HR Manager on special projects
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in similar HR support role
- Proficient in Excel
- Professional communication style, oral and written
- High degree of integrity
- Familiarity with an ATS and HRIS (we use CheckWriters)
- Detail-oriented
Location: Devens, MA.
Hours: 8-4:30pm EST some flexibility.
Reports to: Owner
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
