Description:
• Provide direction for controls equipment locations for safety, maintenance and production consideration for tool install and through launch. Analyze customer requirements and map to NGAVS systems design • Develop process flow diagrams based on customer input • Own for the integration of NGAVS with client’s Vehicle Operations tooling and process control systems • Work with vendor controls engineers to install, test, and debug standard NGAVS logic and drivers • Create custom PLC code for plant unique situations or modify standard templates and AOLs to address issues identified by others • Modify standard HMI code for AllenBradley PanelView HMIs for plant specific requirements • May also direct the efforts of others, including agency personnel or third-party controls integrators, depending on the project assigned
Experience Required:
• 5 years of experience with Allen-Bradly PLC5 and ControlLogix in an automobile manufacturing environment • 5 years of experience with AllenBradley PanelView HMI’s
Skills Required:
• Rockwell Allen-Bradly PLC5 and ControlLogix in an automobile manufacturing environment • Rockwell AllenBradley PanelView HMI’s • Rockwell Factory Talk Production Center • Experience with SmartEye vehicle identification • Experience with SICK barcode scanners or equivalent (e.g. Keyence, Cognex) • Experiences in Ethernet, Device Net, Profinet, Profibus, etc., networking, especially Ethernet/IP • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of operating management • Strong interpersonal skills to build close working relationship with customers
