About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Security to spearhead the global information security strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and owning a comprehensive enterprise information security program. This role requires a leader with at least 7 years of experience in information security within an e-commerce environment, a deep understanding of AWS and Microsoft security technologies, and a strong background in security incident response and risk management. The VP of Information Security will also be the leading advocate for security and privacy, ensuring that security requirements are met, and compliance with standards and policies is maintained. Hands-on involvement and a passion for cybersecurity are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external parties to monitor emerging threats and regulatory practices.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Information Security include managing an effective Incident Response program, overseeing secure code scanning and bug bounty programs, and ensuring global compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA. The role also involves defining network security infrastructure, managing security budgets, and leading both internal and external IT audits. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a Bachelor's degree (with a BS in cyber security being a plus), and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced e-commerce environment. A strong technical background, the ability to work with a broad range of technologies, and a proactive approach to security and privacy issues are crucial for this leadership position.
