Delaware City School District is Hiring a Director of Food Service Near Columbus, OH
Director of Food Service
Delaware City School District
The director of food service administers district food service operations.
This includes 3 production kitchens serving 5 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school.
The director is supported by one administrative assistant, three head cooks and a dedicated team of
cook/cashiers. This team provides breakfast and lunch to support our students.
Salary Scale: Administrative CLS 2
Salary Range: $65,598-$78,387 depending on experience (CLS 2 step 1-10)
Bargaining Unit: Exempt
260 Day Work Calendar, 8 hrs/day
20 days paid vacation annually
15 days paid sick leave
3 days paid personal leave
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with major in Hotel, Restaurant Management or related field
Knowledge of USDA Food & Nutrition Regulations, and Ohio Department of Education regulations and Ohio School Law related to school food service
Level 4 SNA Certificate in School Nutrition, preferred
Serve Safe Manager Certification, preferred
Minimum of two (2) years experience in school food service program administration
Full Benefits Package Offered including health, dental, vision and life insurance
