We are looking for a Master Automotive Technician to join our team! The Master Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing all incoming units to ensure that all vehicles meet the quality standards that the company sets. If you have experience as an ASE-Certified Master Automotive Technician working with a variety of makes and models and love diagnosing and repairing vehicles with a positive attitude – then this may be the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Receive next service repair job from dispatcher, team leader, or electronic technician terminal.
• Review vehicle history information and any factory bulletins, especially outstanding campaigns, that apply to vehicle make or model.
• Test drive and perform inspection of vehicles following procedure set forth by the company.
• Perform diagnosis, request part prices, create estimate of repairs, and report for authorization with work that is required based on standards set forth by the company.
• Request for parts required after authorization and complete required authorized repairs.
• Partner with additional departments as applicable to ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles before being brought to the next step of the reconditioning process.
• Keep informed of all safety guidelines of management and other agencies, especially the disposal of hazardous waste.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain the condition of both personal tools and shop tools.

Requirements:

• Current ASE certifications (A1 through A8).
• Experience as an automotive technician.
• Ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including scan tools, oscilloscope, digital multimeters, air conditioning recycling equipment, etc.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a checking/savings account or pay card with routing numbers for ACH.
• Ability to communicate in an effective manner both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel.
• Self-motivated and diligent.
• Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail.
• Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.
• Ability to operate manual transmission is a plus.
