Aerotek is Hiring a Mill Machinist Near Cincinnati, OH
Job Title: Mill Machinist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Mill Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a CNC Horizontal Boring Mill on both the 1st (7-3:30pm) and 2nd (3:30-12pm) shifts. Initial training will be provided on the 1st shift for a period of 2-3 months. The role demands a minimum of 5 years of experience in setting up and operating Milling machines, specifically a TC-30. Proficiency with either Milacron Controls or Fagor controls is a prerequisite. The successful candidate will have the ability to edit programming on the machine, perform checks on work in process to ensure adherence to quality and production standards, and use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges. The role involves changing settings for various production runs, managing work supplies from the tool crib as needed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and ensuring optimal equipment operating conditions. Use of hand tools and deburring parts in completion of production work may also be required. Hard Skills
