Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and be proficient in various accounting software programs.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the accounts payable department and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline the accounts payable process
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure payments are made in a timely manner
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Experience:

- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in data entry and accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or Quicken
- Experience with governmental accounting practices and regulations
- Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or public accounting is a plus
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
