Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Rooms. As the Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's rooms division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximizing revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the front desk, housekeeping, and reservations departments
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize room occupancy and revenue
- Monitor and analyze room rates, availability, and trends to make informed pricing decisions
- Ensure efficient and effective guest check-in/check-out processes
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel
- Train and develop staff members to provide outstanding customer service
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards
Experience:
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, customer service, and hospitality industry practices
- Proven ability to lead and supervise a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with revenue management strategies
- Multilingual skills are a plus
