Green Key Resources is Hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant Near Bronx, NY
- Evaluate patients based on symptoms, level of activity, and medical status
- Maintain daily records of treatments and document the progress of patients
- Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic exercises to relieve pain
- Use effective techniques on patients to assist in motor activity
- Determine a plan of care specific to patient's status
- Educate patients and families in home exercises
- Determine when a patient has received enough treatment to recommend discharge
- Assist in discharge paperwork and referrals
- Organize and prioritize caseload to ensure patient needs are met
- Basic administration tasks as needed
- Demonstrate a knowledge of OBRA and HIPAA regulations
- Degree from an accredited Therapy Program
- Valid COTA license required
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
