Location: Bridgewater, NJ
This will be F/T role with benefits. Should be On-site during the initial training and then transitioning to hybrid or fully remote, depending on the candidate's experience and ability.
Two interview rounds. First one will be in-person at Bridgewater, NJ office.
Job Description
- Run semi-monthly payroll in accordance with established company practices
- Enter employee information into time tracking and Paylocity payroll portals
- Maintain employee payroll files like form W-4
- Maintain payroll records including time and adjustment logs
- Onboard new hires into the payroll system
- Respond to employee payroll questions
- Respond to unemployment claims.
- Respond to employment verifications.
- Assist with quarterly reconciliations.
- Run reports as needed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel & Word.
- Must be a quick learner.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Prior experience with payroll required. Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
- Prefer experience with state unemployment & withholding taxes.
- Ability to implement process improvements as required
