Job Description
- Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings / deductions
- Compute wages and deductions and enter data into payroll software system
- Complete employee time and payroll data from time sheets and other records
- Review time sheets wage computations and other information to detect and reconcile discrepancies
- Validate new hire data in the HRIS payroll system
- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments
- Issue and record adjustments to pay related errors
- Process funding for 401(k), HSA, and Flex plans
- Record payroll journal entries to the general ledger
- Process invoices for all benefit related fund transfers and payments in the ERP system
- Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws
- Complete all state level applications for withholding and unemployment accounts
- Reconcile quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
- Assist with other accounting related duties as assigned
- 3 Years of general accounting experience
- Paylocity and/or ADP experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Competitive base compensation commensurate with experience
