Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Technician (York, PA)

Position: Immediately needs an experienced Sterile Processing Tech for the 3 months of the contract.
Details:
Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Duration: 13 weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. 8 hours. 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
- Active HSPA CRCST or CSPDT license.
- COVID Vaccinated.
- BLS / CPR Preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established procedures.
- Assemble instrument trays and surgical kits according to specifications.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality.
- Operate sterilizers, washers, and other equipment to decontaminate instruments.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile processing procedures.
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Certification or training in sterile processing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
