Lead Infant Teacher at the YMCA Jewett Child Development Center
Must be 21 years or older, have an ECE Degree or the ECE Stackables, and one year of exp. working as a lead teacher in an Infant room. Other requirements: current CPR, AED, First Aid certifications, Food Handlers permit, Blood Borne Pathogens & TB test. A Washington State background check and fingerprints required. Willing to work Monday – Friday from 7:30am - 4:30 pm. Open until Filled. EOE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Duties:
- Care for Infants in an early childhood setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for infants to grow and develop
- Collaborate with parents to ensure each infant's individual needs are met
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
- Monitor and assess infant's progress to adjust teaching strategies as needed
