FIELDSTONE COMMUNITIES is Hiring a Medication Aide Near Yakima, WA

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Administers and/or assists with the self-administration of routine medications of various forms.
  • Maintains accurate record of medications and treatments administered or omitted on each resident’s clinical record.
  • Follows the activities of daily living for each individuals care plan.
  • Reports changes and observations of residents' needs and preferences.
  • Takes vital signs, residents' weights, applies creams/ointments, collects specimens, as well as lifts, moves, and transports residents.
  • Documents care provided to resident.

Follows standard precautions and safe work practices.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Current WA State CNA/HCA license in good standing
  • Applicants with nurse delegation a plus
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Current First Aid and CPR card
  • Maintain current Food Handlers card
  • Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check _.

Actual pay rate will be calculated based on relevant years of experience and education/certification requirements.
