Billing Specialist: Job Description

Position:

Summary of Position:

The Billing Specialist will work closely with the Billing and Front Desk department and ensure that all procedures are closely followed, from pulling correct patient files to charting insurance information and collecting payments. This position requires high attention to detail, critical thinking and organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Communicating with patients over phone, by email, via text, and online
• Greeting patients in a courteous and friendly manner
• Basic invoicing, and A/R management, Process payments by phone, mail, and online
• Update and verify insurance benefits by phone, fax, and online
• Take clear and concise messages
• Insurance verification and claims processing
• Assisting the Billing and Front Desk as needed

This position will be based out of our Woodinville location however, candidates must be willing to go to our Bellevue location if needed.

Compensation: $19-22
