AP Supervisor
Duties
- Manage AP team and processes to keep vendor accounts up-to-date.
- Distribute workload evenly among team members, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Process vendor invoices in SAP, including international invoices in various currencies.
- Ensure all necessary data and documentation from vendors are complete.
- Follow internal AP controls, ensuring timely approval of invoices.
- Resolve discrepancies on vendor accounts, collaborating with vendors and the operations team.
- Report key metrics and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments using independent judgment.
- Proactively handle problems and work with the team on solutions.
Profile
- High School Graduate
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Proficient in Outlook and Excel
- Experience with SAP and Cargowise preferred
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
