Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician Responsibilities : - Perform maintenance and repair tasks on large heavy construction equipment, addressing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
- Safely operate tools and service equipment- Place orders for necessary parts and materials to fulfill work assignments.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols consistently.- Complete all necessary paperwork, including time clocking, collection records, SOC reports, and maintain relevant records, photos, or other materials as required.
Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician Requirements : -3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment required- 1 year of field experience repairing heavy construction equipment of the following types and / or manufacturers requiredHeavy equipment types : excavators, compactors, wheel loaders, haulers, dumpers, motor graders, asphalt paversHeavy equipment manufacturers : Volvo, CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Bergmann, Leeboy, or Bell heavy equipment- Additional vocational or technical training in heavy equipment maintenance preferred- Must be able to drive a company vehicle and pass DOT physical and MVR requirements
