HVAC / R Service Technician

Position Overview :

Are you an experienced HVAC / R Service Technician looking to join a dynamic and growing team? We are seeking skilled technicians to perform diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance on a variety of refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnostic and Repair Work : Perform diagnosis and repair on refrigeration units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, compressors, air handlers, electric motors, and HVAC units, ensuring all equipment returns to optimal operating levels.
• Preventative Maintenance : Conduct regular maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime for customers.
• Documentation : Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Travel : Willingness to travel throughout Eastern MA as needed.
• Additional Duties : Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Must-Have Skills :

• Experience : Minimum of 3 years in HVAC / R service.
• Technical Aptitude : Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot.
• Customer Service : Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
• Work Ethic : Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and professional attitude.
• Driving Record : Clean driving record and a valid State Driver License.
• On-Call Availability : Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Integrity : Understands and demonstrates ethical behavior in all situations.
• Certifications :
• EPA Type II Certification (Required)
• HVAC / R License / Certification in the State of MA (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 Certification (Preferred)

Compensation :

• Hourly Rate :
• 5 years of experience : $45 / hr
• 8-10 years of experience : $50 / hr
• 10 years of experience : $65 / hr

Location :

• Job Location : Weymouth, MA
• Hiring Radius : Within 100 miles of Weymouth, MA 02189
• Relocation : Open to candidates willing to relocate (license must be valid in MA)
