Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care coordination and administrative support within our medical facility.

Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Obtain and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately.
- Assist in medical billing and insurance claims processing.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care plans.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the clinic.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical or dental office.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Knowledge of medical administrative support functions is desirable.
