Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Office Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to healthcare professionals and ensuring smooth operations within the medical office.

Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional administrative support to medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals - Schedule appointments and manage calendars for medical personnel - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel - Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information - Assist with medical billing and coding processes - Insurance verification and checking benefits - Coordinate patient referrals and obtain necessary authorizations - Prepare and maintain medical supplies inventory - Provide patient education materials and instructions as directed by healthcare providers

Experience: - Previous experience working in a hospital or medical setting is a must - Knowledge of insurance and prior authorizations - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care procedures - Familiarity with medication administration processes - Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
