- This candidate will be supporting 4 projects.
The second Project is associated with bringing equipment in from a different location they already own. Doing infrastructure changes, and decommissioning old equipment.
- The third Project is related to facilities modification accommodating two different departments in one single building. Take down walls, put AC units, and infrastructure costs.
- The fourth project is aligning manufacturing practices with what is done in Maine and other overseas Abbott sites. Develop the best manufacturing stratergy. Transferring equipment overseas or bringing it from overseas to the site.
- Some Project Management experience is needed in manufacturing sites; a medical device background is strongly preferred. (1 to 5 years)
- Must be good at using Microsoft Projects and Smartsheet.
- Power BI experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are needed as they will need to work cross-functionally to get status updates.
- Some equipment validation experience.
- Small amount of technical writing and document writing involved. Good technical writing skills are beneficial for this role.
- Medical devices or medical diagnostics background are highly preferred (R&D, Manufacturing).
- Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering.
- Ideally 1 to 5 years experience.
- Open to more years of experience as well if they are fine with the Bill Rate.
- Equipment Validation experience
- Exp related to facilities modification/Infrastructure change; worked on projects involving modifying the building.
- Strong Personality with good communication skills.
