Florida Avenue Brewing Co. is Hiring an Event Sales Manager Near Wesley, FL
- Primary contact for all customer inquiries regarding the private event spaces at our Wesley Chapel location and for our semi-private patio option at our Tampa location. This also includes requests for venue buyouts.
- Consulting with clients about every detail of an event to ensure that it runs smoothly.
- Prospecting new sales and building proposals/BEOs
- Managing revenue documentation.
- Develop, or participate with senior staff in the development of strategic marketing plans.
- Create sales campaigns focused on communication and nurturing relationships with guests and driving repeat sales.
- Work closely with VP Ops, General Manager, Executive Chef and Service Managers.
- Weekly check-in meetings with VP of Operations
- Weekly meetings with GM & Exec Chef to go over BEOs.
- Create event floor plans.
- Organizing and submitting weekly linen rental order
- Run events report monthly for VP Ops & GM
- Host bi-monthly weekend office hours for walk-in tours – one Saturday or Sunday per month
- Quarterly marketing meetings to update packages and offerings.
- Submitting sporadic 3rd party dessert orders with approved vendors
- Support large public events as needed.
- No direct reports.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with CRM applications (Tripleseat)
- Friendly, positive, outgoing personality who relates well and gets along with people.
- Superior guest service skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent follow through and organizational skills
- Strong outreach and business development acumen
- Maintains flexible schedule to include working on weekends and holidays. Must have a professional demeanor with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Associate degree or higher in related field or trade education is preferred
- Certified Cicerone Beer Server preferred
- Must be able to work on your feet for 10 hours
- Must be able to crouch, bend, lift and reach
- Rate of pay commensurate with experience plus commission
