We are currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Operating Room Technician II. This position is a 1.0 FTE and will be scheduled 7am-3:30pm, Monday – Friday, with on-call hours.

Under the direction of the RN in charge of the surgical team the OR Technician assists in the provision of nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the sterile team in gown and gloves, creates and maintains as sterile field and passes instruments to members of the OR team. Provides preoperative and postoperative care under the direction of an RN.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Requires High School diploma or equivalent, plus graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with current NYS License and registration as LPN or be a Certified Surgical Technologist by nationally accredited credentialing organization, or have completed an appropriate training program as defined by NYS regulations at hire. Non-certified individuals must obtain certification within the latter of 12 months of hire.

Pay: $24.43 - $30.52 per hour
