We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Registration Clerk/PBX Operator (0.60 FTE). This position will work a varied schedule of day and evening hours, position works weekdays/nights and weekends depending on the needs of the department.

The main function of this position is to register patients in an efficient and accurate manner, following hospital policy and procedure. Ensures that accurate patient information is obtained and keyed into the computer system and assist patients, families and all customers following the Quality Management Plan. According to specified procedures, operate a console telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and inter-office calls. Perform various hospital communications and clerical duties. Act as hospital receptionist.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalency, plus completion of keyboarding and medical terminology course preferred. Basic Computer skills and great customer service skills are required. Three months in a healthcare field preferred.

Pay: $16.71 - $18.45 per hour
