Payroll Manager

Our team in Wayne currently has an opening for a Payroll Manager

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Accounting/Finance and Human Resources to evaluate, redesign and streamline the payroll process.
• Active role in payroll harmonization project across North America.
• Manage a staff who process a complex, bi-weekly payroll for 7000 employees in the US and in Canada.
• Process bonuses, commissions, current pay, adjustments, deductions and reimbursements accordingly.
• Partner with outsourced payroll vendor.
• Create and run payroll reports through various payroll/time systems
• Ensure controls are in place to run payroll efficiently & accurately as possible.
• Serve as subject matter expert for all payroll and timekeeping technologies.
• Evaluate, analyze and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Partners with other managers in the company and on the HR team to implement special projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• 4 year college degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related field.
• A minimum of 7 years experience with a multi-state payroll, greater than 1000 employees.
• Certified Payroll Professional is highly desired.
• Prior success with evaluating and redesigning payroll processes and workflow.
• 3 years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior success in driving business decisions based on research and analysis of past data in the areas of payroll, timekeeping and HRIS technologies.
• Prior experience with successful implementation & integration of payroll & timekeeping systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Prior success in driving business decision based on research and analysis including HR vendors in the areas of payroll, timekeeping and HRIS technologies.
