This position is responsible for planning and directing of installations for the Bureau of Correctional Enterprises (BCE) furniture products at customer sites. This includes delivery, installation of products, oversight and project management of contracted installers. This position will work on major projects throughout the state of Wisconsin.
The position is responsible for quality assurance and customer satisfaction and will use professional communication and presentation skills. This position is responsible for the security, custody and direct supervision and training work crews comprised of Person’s in Our Care (PIOC) assigned to the Industries Distribution Center (IDC) and throughout the state of Wisconsin in temporary release orders from the correctional center system.
This position requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License be obtained within 120 days of hire.
Salary Information
:
The Developmental Level position is in pay schedule and range 03-13 with pay starting from $22.78-$25.46/hour.
The Senior Level position is in pay schedule and range 03-14 with pay starting from $24.59-$27.20/hour.
:
Construction, maintenance and repair of equipment used in distribution, customer service, reading CADD blueprints, project management, furniture installation, and/or using MS Word/Excel.
applicants must have their Class A CDL at time of hire and have experience in project management or overseeing work crews.
Pay rates on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
A twelve-month probationary period is required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and meet . Employees will be required to maintain a valid driver's license and eligibility to drive a fleet vehicle.
Applicants will be required to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s license within 120 days of hire.
