We are looking for a talented Production Artist to join our in-house creative / production department. You will work alongside our Creative Director and Designers to support our clients on a range of projects and mediums, including print, packaging, presentations, and digital media.

Description
- Create and adjust existing designs and comprehensive layouts based on feedback from clients and Account Managers. Preflight incoming customer files to ensure all requirements are correct in terms of color management, image quality, size, etc.
- Collaborate closely with the Production team and Account Managers in the creation of layouts and graphics for print and digital
- Manage multiple projects at a time, including the day-to-day production design, and communicate updates with managers and SOP to meet or exceed deadlines
- Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the final quality of a finished product
- A good attitude and willingness to work in a team environment and help with other tasks if your department is caught up as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in graphic design or visual communications
- Up to 3 years of experience as a prepress operator, designer, or related position
- Excellent knowledge of Workflow industry standards, including bindery and press specifications
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Proficient in using a Mac computer
- Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines
- Must be proactive in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Openness to direction, mentoring, and training to improve skills
- A plus : Knowledge of Preflight programs such as Fuji XMF, Pitstop, and Smartstream, and website applications such as WordPress and Shopify
