The Manager of Diagnostic Services is responsible for the administrative and technical direction for the Diagnostic, Cardiac Cath & Interventional Imaging Departments at Vista Medical Center East.

Responsibilities:

• Provide coordination of the technical and administrative activities and personnel of the of the department to include all modalities.
• Administer financial, physical, and human resources to provide medical services in the radiological sciences.
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of duties and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
• Monitor department operations to assure compliance with governmental and other regulations and meets standards established by accrediting agencies and others.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or working on a health degree in health service management, business, public health administration or information systems. Graduation from AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of management experience with in an Imaging Services department.
• Five years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Multiple modality registries preferred.
• Illinois. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current licensure as a Radiology Tech Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers - CPR certification.
