Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures and other cardiovascular interventions under the supervision of licensed physicians and registered nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the cardiac catheterization lab for procedures, including setting up equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and stocking necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with administering medications and intravenous fluids as directed by physicians.
• Perform procedural documentation and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field.
• Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment and monitoring devices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
