Vista Health System is interested in hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN).You will be responsible for the safety of surgical patients while in the surgical suite and assisting with the supervision of nonprofessional personnel in the area.

Shift: Days- 8 hour shift- Call Required (MUST LIVE WITHIN 30min of facility)

As a Nurse you will be specifically responsible for:

• Assessing patient status.
• Providing supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Providing care to surgical patients.
• Providing information to surgical patients and families.
• Providing call coverage for emergencies.

• Experience Requirements: at least 6 months experience in CVOR with open heart experience. 2 years General OR. ( Will consider an experience OR RN with some exposure to CV/ open heart for their CVOR RN position. Dependent on resume review.)

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
• BLS & ACLS
• BSN strongly preferred
• CPR, ACLS certified
