Balance Staffing is Hiring a Mill Operator Near Watsonville, CA
Responsibilities:
Shift: Monday-Thursday
- Manufacture food products (herbs, teas, spices, etc.) in accordance with company regulations.
- Measure proper amounts of material to be processed for each food product.
- Operate milling, sifting, and blending machinery on a daily basis.
- Monitor food condition and quality through critical checkpoints of processing.
- Record and label processing status for each food product being milled.
- Assist in management of product inventory to maintain fresh consistent food product.
- Assist in maintenance of the mill, grounds, mill equipment and delivery equipment.
- Supports the Food Safety Program, Employee Safety Program and HACCP Program by ensuring compliance with all related procedures, policies and obligations.
- Communicates positively with other team members to maximize output and efficiency
- Attend appropriate food safety and quality training as required in compliance with SQF.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.75 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
