Formed in 1989 with the merger of two independent YMCAs the Salinas Community YMCA (founded in 1921) and the Watsonville Family YMCA (founded in 1898), the Central Coast YMCA currently operates five branches, Salinas YMCA, Watsonville YMCA, YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula, South County YMCA, and YMCA of San Benito County. In addition to our Branch Memberships, which offer a...ccess to our Wellness Centers and group exercise classes, we offer programs for youth and teens, including child care, holiday and summer camps, youth sports, art & humanities, tutoring, dance, and more.
