Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of mechanical equipment, systems and processes.
- Develop and review drawings, plans and design documents.
- Conduct tests and analyses to ensure that components and systems meet design specifications and performance standards.
- Participate in review of building plans and specifications for MEP systems and/or structural.
- Review material selection and equipment performance.
- Provide technical advice and review of existing drawings and equipment.
- Assist in the development of cost estimates, bid documents, and specifications for construction projects.
- Develop and maintain engineering and design standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field.
- EIT or PE preferred
- 2 years of experience in design of HVAC, plumbing, process piping, electrical or structural scopes
- Proficient in the use of computers and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Solidworks and/or Trimble.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
