Clampco Products is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Account Representative

Clampco Products, an emerging aerospace employer,has a new opportunity for a talented Inside Sales Account Representative. The position responsible for both, management of current customer accounts, as well as proactive outbound prospecting for new business. Individual may also be required to support Outside Sales Engineering. The position will include limited travel and attendance at industry trade shows, marketing events and target customer visits. A keen sense to identify sales opportunities, along with the ability to close the sale is required. This position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager, and will work closely with Marketing and other Sales Team Members. The position is ONSITE at the Wadsworth Ohio location with work hours Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with some flexibility


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Individuals can perform the following essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Drives revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders with current and developing customer accounts by utilizing intelligent prospecting and targeted voice and digital communication.

  • Responsible for evaluation and processing of initial sales inquiry, creation and presentation of quotation, follow-up, and PO review in hand off to Customer Service and Fulfillment Teams.

  • Utilization of situational knowledge and technical experience to deliver an exception customer experience, every time.

  • Willingness to learn and understand Clampco product offerings that will lead to outstanding technical and product support to our valued customers.

  • Understand and become proficient in the use of CRM and Estimating software

  • Review and analyze customer sales reports to monitor specific product and overall sales trends and metrics. Must have the ability to prepare sales and forecast reports for Management review.

  • Communicate with Internal Core Members to resolve customer issues

The position requires strong mental acumen to make informed and sound decisions. The individual must have exceptional communication, telephone etiquette skills and superior customer service interaction. Additionally, proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel) and competent in mathematical applications is needed for this role.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree or work experience with competency training and certificates
  • 4-6 years of proactive inside sales experience selling engineered products, with the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and customer requirements.
  • Self-Motivated with the ability to learn, understand and retain product knowledge.
  • Strong phone and digital/virtual communication skills that lead to positive interface with customers.
  • Show attention to detail, while demonstrating ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must have the ability work collaboratively as a member of the Sales Team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that support ability to sell your ideas both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
