Job Summary :
The Security Officer protects life and property of persons on hospital premises. Patrols hospital building(s) and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and other types of losses.
Qualifications
Licenses / Certification :
- DC Police Department Security License (SPO) is required within 30 days of hire date.
- BLS required within 60 days of hire date.
- Required to attend SPO training in accordance with 1100 training. Appointment General Provision 1100.
Experience : Previous security experience required. Hospital security experience or prior military experience preferred.
