**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a medical office setting and possess knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health record systems. EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL OFFICE REQUIRED as well as references.
**Duties:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain electronic medical records using systems like eClinicalWorks or Tebra (FKA Kareo)
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and diagnostic facilities
**Experience:**
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office REQUIRED
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including phone systems and computers
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems like eClinicalWorks or Tebra (FKA Kareo) is preferred
