Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office administration and possess knowledge of various medical software systems.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate medical records requests and transfers
- Assist with insurance verification and billing tasks
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Utilize medical scheduling software such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or AthenaOne
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in using medical software systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or AthenaOne
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
