Academy Swim Club is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Valencia, CA

PAY: Training starting at $19.00 p/h. Raise available once independence is established.

We are looking for child-friendly, ecstatic customer-oriented service representative. A customer service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for children under the age of 5 in California. Although there is no way to tell how many lives we have potentially saved in the past, you can come to your job each day knowing that you are.

**Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma
  • 1 year Customer Service Experience
  • 1 year minimum Job Commitment
  • Available to work some weekends (until 5pm), and weeknights (until 8pm)
  • Pass a drug test, fingerprint through DOJ and a background check
  • Must be or become CPR certified (we offer class free of charge and pay for time)
  • Must train in the water for 20 hours (to understand our swim lesson program)
  • Must be passionate about our mission to help reduce drownings
  • Must be patient and love kids
  • Must be reliable

**Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greet and assist customers
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails
  • Generate sales leads to increase enrollment
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Enroll and schedule new and existing students
  • Maintain a clean, fun and safe environment for all employees and patrons
  • Supervise swim instructors at times
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies, and lead by example
  • Provide detailed verbal and written account information
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all students, patrons, staff and directors

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
