Work Shift: Job Description: Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, spearheads project and cross functional collaboration to successful outcomes. Develops and deploys reports and analytics to guide supply chain planning and decision making. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with manufacturing to procure materials and maintain the production schedule via the late part list and late order notice process • Follow up on past due supplier PO’s to ensure ERP system data accuracy • Resolve PO confirmation discrepancies (i.e., cost, delivery) • Issue Purchase Orders (Incl. Plan Materials/Run Workbench) for assigned facilities • Manage inventory levels, schedules (pull in/push out) and availability of materials • Assist in database maintenance (vendor records, item attributes, quote pricing models [e.g.; special paint], ERP reporting and related) • Support change orders (and project manage orders) requests to ensure Gorbel’s on-time shipment performance. • Assist in invoice discrepancy and resolve non-conforming materials • Conduct Material Transfers • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned. • Some day and overnight travel to suppliers and/or company facilities may be required • Drive continuous improvement utilizing problem-solving skills and tools REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • College Degree or 2 to 5 years of equivalent experience • Strong Microsoft suite business Acumen • Experience with lean/continuous improvement tools and programs • Excellent communication skills • Independent judgment and demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision • Prior supply chain (purchasing, buying, planning, materials) experience preferred • ERP Experience required WORK ENVIRONMENT: ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time • Primary work environment is professional corporate office Gorbel® is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
