Money One is Hiring a Business Development Specialist Near Upper Marlboro, MD

Responsible for utilizing our vision, mission and core values as a guide for creating and sustaining a strong sales and service culture. Act as the sales representative (in-house and in the field) to meet the production goals for the department by coordinating, implementing, & managing the Select Employee Group (SEG) program to expand the Credit Unions field of membership. Work directly with potential members to set-up business deposit products and services. Gather required documentation to open account and process loan requests. Responds to inquiries and provides information upon request from prospects and members. Assure compliance with CU policies and procedures. Provide superior member service by maintaining a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members, prospective members and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business Development Manager to develop a weekly/monthly sales plan to solicit new business members, loan requests, & SEG’s. Align activities to meet and exceed the production goals for the Business Services Department.
  • Develop, maintain, and cultivate community and new business contacts to enhance credit union visibility and maximize business development opportunities.
  • Actively call on businesses within a defined radius to develop new and existing opportunities; to include loans, deposits, SEG’s and other financial service products.
  • Attend networking and business organization events to create new sales opportunities, generate brand awareness and promote the services of the Credit Union.
  • Keep abreast of competitors’ products, services, and strategies.
  • Cross-sell additional services to existing business members; using database to solicit new referrals.
  • Operate in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable federal, state, and NCUA rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and project the CUs professional reputation. Ensure privacy of member information.
  • Perform all other member business, depository services, and various administrative duties as assigned the by Business Development Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,500.00 - $55,750.00 per year
