This role is hybrid in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Position Overview For The Functional Tester
- Reviewing system documentation to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Identifying test objectives based on the system documentation and project goals.
- Developing and updating test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and regression testing requirements.
- Executing functional and regression test scenarios on a daily basis to validate the performance and functionality of the web-based application.
- Collaborating with team members to analyze test results, identify defects, and provide feedback for improvement.
- 3 years of end-to-end software testing experience, including test scenario creation, execution, and thorough documentation of programming defects.
- Proficiency in Security Testing across diverse applications and environments, encompassing Coarse-grained/fine-grained access controls validations and role-based testing.
- Minimum 2 years of testing experience in varied environments like client-server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web-based, and three-tier architectures.
- Familiarity with Testing Techniques, covering white-box, black-box, load testing, coverage testing, and regression testing.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and TFS.
- Demonstrated expertise in software testing within integrated eligibility, public assistance, and Medicaid/TANF domains.
- Ability to generate SQL queries against an Oracle database to validate business scenarios when required.
