We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to lead the growth and management of the broadband.io community. As Broadband Community Manager, you will foster a welcoming environment where members can connect, learn, and collaborate on various topics related to broadband, connectivity, and internet technologies.
A bit about you
2 years in digital community management, social media management, or related roles.
Your superpower is relationship building and you’re energized by building and engaging your community.
You embody Ready’s founding principle of “Humble, Hungry, Curious”.
Proven track record driving community growth, including a portfolio of creative and scalable programs across all social media platforms.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You’re a creative thinker with a proactive mindset and are excited to identify opportunities for community growth and engagement.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills; you craft engaging content and interact effectively with diverse audiences.
Bonus skills:
Technical background / ability to quickly learn new digital tools
Digital A/V production experience, in particular streaming
Experience in event planning and management
Graphic design experience
About your role at Ready ️
Community Growth
Utilize social media platforms, forums, and online channels to promote community engagement and reach a broader audience of stakeholders and enthusiasts.
Develop strategies to grow the community organically through outreach, partnerships, and marketing initiatives.
Responsible for driving key metrics in the broadband community, including but not limited to: number of new verified member signups per week, month over month growth rate, etc
Encourage a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the community by actively engaging with members, initiating discussions, and promptly responding to inquiries and feedback.
Content & Event Management
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop Ready’s content calendar.
Curate engaging content, including articles, blog posts, discussions, and multimedia resources, to stimulate conversation within the community.
Organize virtual events, webinars, workshops, and meetups to further engage community members.
Coordinate logistics, secure speakers, and promote events to ensure maximum participation.
Monitor community activity and address any spam, issues or conflicts to maintain a respectful environment for all participants.
