As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential or community-based setting. Your primary goal will be to assist our clients in achieving their personal goals, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence, self-determination, and community integration.
• Implement individualized support plans and behavioral interventions as directed by supervisors and healthcare professionals.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources, recreational activities, and social events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, incidents, and activities in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare professionals, family members, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in human services, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients and team members.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Must pass background checks and meet other employment eligibility requirements.
