Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesProviding extraordinary customer service to our producers by maintaining new and existing customer account information would be an essential function for you in this role. Other significant duties are as follows: Handling accounting details for each customer including farm splits, grain application and settlements efficiently and accurately. Understand and articulate discount schedules, by commodity, to customers as needed. Address any customer accounting questions, concerns or mistakes promptly and professionally. Engage with our more transactional customer base by answering inbound phone calls, providing specific account information, and purchasing cash grain. Maintain and communicate critical location specific information to customers regarding bids, hours and other meaningful announcements. Communications may include updating website content and sending daily email and text message updates. Handle daily position checks and balances, hedge grain purchases and facilitate all location hedge entries into the accounting system. Lead all contract related tasks including entry, pricing, signature maintenance, past-due deliveries/terms, non-traditional contract expiration awareness and any state related documentation requirements for unpriced grain contracts (basis/DP).Assist with daily or weekly location specific responsibilities such as scale operation, employee payroll, and accounts payable.
