The Assistant Spa Director ensures that the members and guests receive a memorable and satisfying experience during every contact. They help to coordinate communication and work actively within the spa, and is a primary agent of customer satisfaction and quality management.

• Maintains a professional presence on the Spa front desk – answering the phone, responding to emails, and coordinating appointments for spa treatments in a prompt, polite, and helpful manner.

• Confidently explains treatments offered on Spa menu and assists members with book service(s) to best meet their individual needs.

• Provides sterling telephone service to customers.

• Works with therapists to ensure that schedules are accurate, and appointments are booked correctly for billing.

• Helps to maintain the appearance of visual merchandising and displays.

• Maintains all Spa public areas; ensuring immaculate cleanliness/sanitation, amenities are organized, dusted, and well stocked.

• Assist with daily retail tasks including unpacking, steaming & stickering inventory. Re-merchandising the boutique in line with our spa boutique merchandising guidelines.

• Checks member and guests in and out of fitness and spa facilities.

• Works to resolve member complaints – communicates service opportunities with Spa Director.

• Sells gift certificates and advises on gift selections.

• Provides Spa tours for new and prospective members.

• Assists Spa Director with scheduling and timekeeping for the spa coordinators and therapists.

• Balances spa POS sales report at the end of each shift.

• Takes food and beverage orders from spa guests and serves using proper etiquette.
