Subaru of Troy is looking for a Rental Agent. This person is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth car rental transactions.

They will welcome customers, answer their queries, and provide them with the information they need to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities :

• Service Advisor experience a plus
• Quotes cost of rental car, based on rates, estimated mileage, and the requested insurance coverage.
• Prepare all rental contracts and return documents accurately and completely.
• Explains all policies and procedures
• Offer assistance with directions, maps, local area information, appropriate service information, etc.
• Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.
• Check vehicle upon return to assess any damage charges.
• Other customer service-related duties as required, to ensure the best quality customer experience.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Computer literacy and familiarity with rental software a plus
• Knowledge of car rental industry and applicable law / regulations a plus

The estimated annual earning range for this position is ($66,000.00 to $114,000.00), which includes commissions on (Commissions Ex : Individual Sales and / or Individual Gross Profit , Department Net ) and / or bonus opportunities such as (Bonuses Ex : Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability ).

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and / or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
