Position Overview

Assist in design, development and improve manufacturing processes of new or existing product by building and testing of prototype and low volume vehicles and electro-mechanical devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the engineering department with regard to product design to resolve product difficulties.
• Maintains material stock and inventories and advises material requisitions. Inspect, diagnose repair and/or replace vehicle\device operating system (Thermal systems, powertrain, suspension, brakes etc.)
• Operate a vehicle lift
• Experience installation wiring harnesses and thermal hose systems
• Experience in building and servicing mechatronic systems
• Experience in working with PCBAs
• Experience in soldering (PCBAs, harness, etc.)
• Experience performing, and the use of power tools required, to modify sheet metal and plastic components; this includes A-surface components
• Ability to view and interpret CAD images; basic PC skills required
• General knowing of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket modifications

Qualifications:

• 4 years’ experience in an automotive environment, preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment is highly desired.
• Ability to lead a team of people
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
