- Post invoices into the QuickBooks system
- Prepare monthly bank and credit card account reconciliations
- Fact-check accounting data
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Supervise accounts payable, overseeing the processing of invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Follow up on delinquent invoices
- Ensure that all general accounting functions are entered and journalized accurately and promptly for all designated operations
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- File, scan, and electronically attach accounts payable invoices and other paperwork
- Our preferred candidate possesses an associate's degree and is well-versed in accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Accounting CS.
- They should have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, strong organizational skills, general office experience, and effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in database applications and administration systems, particularly Microsoft Office, is essential.
