Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events and banquets
- Brew coffee, tea, and other hot beverages as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their recipes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations
